2012 starts well for me, again I sold two of my laced-up vases at BLAAK10 Gallery & Store.
And I sold two of my Tutti Frutti bowls! I am very happy! This week I am contacting a few stores and galleries to sell my Tutti Frutti's. I wonder what 2012 is going to offer me ... I applied for an artist-in-residency to work with ceramics for three months in the USA. So, will 2012 offer me an artist-in-residency perhaps?I hope so!

Tutti Frutti for sale!

The fruit bowl Tutti Frutti is made out of 6-12 different kinds of fruits nets. The shape of the bowl is, just like the fruit nets, determined by the contents of it. Because of the different colors, the nets overlap, no piece of the bowl is the same. Every little piece has a color combination and structure of its own.

Vases made by high school pupils

From August 2011 until January 2012, I have taught at my old high school. These ceramic vases are built up by clay 'sausages'. I've made ​​a selection vases, there were very surprising and all so different. These vases are all made by pupils (mavo3).

Wanted/Gevraagd

Gevraagd blauwe(Grapefruit) en paarse(Bloedsinaasappelen) fruitnetjes van de AppieHein! En ja gele, oranje, rode, groene, zelfs rood met groene, zwarte en witte fruitnetjes heb ik al in overvloed, maar zijn nog steeds welkom.

Op vrijdag 2 december 2011 opent BLAAK10 traditiegetrouw haar Decemberstore met een verrassende mix van accessoires, boeken, kleding en meubels voor de grote én kleine portemonnee. Ben je op zoek naar een verrassend en uniek item? Kom langs in onze Store voor een exclusief aanbod aan producten van onze studenten en alumni. Ook ik mag weer werk ten toon stellen in BLAAK10!

Tijdens de Decemberstore biedt BLAAK10 de ruimte aan twee veelbelovende Lifestyle & Design alumni.

Vriendin Dorian Blanke creëerde samen met Rose Schildwacht (Rossi&Blake) de installatie ‘Elements in Turbulence’ waarin zij de vier elementen aarde, lucht, water en vuur hebben vertaald in fotografie en bewegend beeld. Rossi&Blake is een jong en experimenteel modefotografie en stylingbureau bestaande uit het duo Dorian Blanke en Rose Schildwacht. 

 De aankleding van de Store wordt verzorgd door de afdeling Lifestyle & Design.

Projectweek Art and Music II! (Kunst en Muziek)

Projectweek at the Lyceum voor Beeldende Vormgeving was again a great success!
The pupils created a music instrument in my lessons and at the end they played together a music play (led by Jaap Rovers).
